She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Ateneo de Manila University in 2013, where she was named to the Dean’s List. She passed the Bar in October 2014. Prior to law school, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Legal Management from De La Salle University, graduating with honors.

Since 2015, Madel has worked at Manila Electric Company (Meralco), where she currently serves as Legal Counsel in the Regulatory Legal Contract Management division. Her role includes managing regulatory litigation, reviewing and negotiating power supply agreements, providing legal opinions, and advocating for regulatory changes before government agencies like the ERC and DOE. She also supports the competitive selection process for power supply agreements.

Earlier in her career, she worked as Corporate Legal Counsel at Meralco, handling corporate litigation, contract negotiations, due diligence, and corporate housekeeping. In addition to her role at Meralco, she currently serves as General Counsel at CityMD Surgicenter, Inc., where she advises on legal matters affecting the business and manages the company’s legal affairs.

Throughout her career, Madel has developed a strong foundation in regulatory compliance, contract management, and corporate governance. She is also experienced in legal research and analysis, having interned at CVC Law and BDO’s Legal Department during her law school years.

Outside of her professional work, she is committed to extracurricular activities, having held leadership roles in various events at Ateneo Law School and participated in community-building efforts at De La Salle University.

Fluent in both English and Filipino, Madel possesses strong analytical, public speaking, and leadership skills. She is goal-oriented, flexible, and committed to delivering high-quality legal services in every aspect of her professional and personal endeavors.
